Graduated August '05 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in creative writing. I'm currently working in a can plant. I would like to be an author. In general I'm described as a nice person but very quiet =) so try not to take silence from me too hard. It just seems to be my natural state.
I no longer take requests or commission work, but I love trades. Message me if you'd like to set one up!

Mood: Enthusiastic
I'm alive - had guests for the past week and now I'm back to work and beating down a cold at the same time x_x but it's going away.
Regarding the last journal, I DID technically end up finishing a draft of Lady Luck before the stroke of midnight. It's almost down to a script format in my desperation to finish it though ^^() so it needs major revising before it appears here.
I have two goals this year.
1) Official New Year's Resolution! Finish a draft of Three Pi Aces by 2010. This story isn't posted to the public. If you want to keep up with the progress you have to be added to this Livejournal - http://threepiaces.livejournal.com/profile
2) Put out an issue of 20 Galaxies for print. A lot of people have been asking me about this lately, and getting a copy of Engelbaum (http://www.imagni.com) really inspired me. The problem is, a lot has changed in the background in canon and to keep everything consistent I have to restart. Again. But I at least want to finish what I already have of Legend in the Sky so work on the print version won't be started until the end of the current Part 1. This will be the LAST time I start over. HEAR ME, FUTURE SELF? LAST TIME!
This project has been building since 1992. It's time to stop the cycle of revisions and get it out there.
Thanks for the watch! I hope I can keep your interest in my writing, lol. =)
Also, I noticed that you have a degree in creative writing. I'd like to know if you think the degree is entirely necessary? I'm planning on teaching English as a career, but I'm considering a dual-major with Creative Writing.
And, on an aside, I like your artwork. Very well done.
I'm not sure the degree is necessary. I didn't end up taking very many classes that had to do with writing, and 80% of them didn't even have to do with English. But I haven't gotten any work that has to do with my degree either so I don't have a lot of experience to speak from =(
Fan of Sci-Fi? Large ships? Cool explosions? and possibly the most detailed and in depth system ever?
Well then join "Tomas Macias's Star Chronicles"! a place of an ever growing fantastic sci-fi story and in depth battles. And it's an awesome Sci-Fi RP at that.
